University of Ghana launches a scholarship scheme for brilliant students.

The management of the University of Ghana has launched a scholarship scheme to provide financial support to brilliant but needy students pursuing undergraduate programs at the University’s main campus.

Follow the following steps to apply for the University of Ghana scholarship;


All undergraduate students who are willing to apply for the scholarship must check the scholarship requirements and fill all online forms together with the submission of relevant supporting documents.
All applicants must answer all the questions on the online form that is required from them. Applicants are also encouraged to seek clarification in completing the online form.

After completing the online form, the next step is to interview applicants who have been shortlisted.
All applicants who meet the initial requirements will receive a notification from the SFAO indicating the scholarship awarded to them.

How successful applicants would be paid
The award will be credited to successful applicants’ accounts at the University.
All applicants are to take note of the following;

  1. Students who are applying for the university scholarship for the first time in the university are supposed to fill an online form at the University of Ghana website
  2. Students who need further clarification on the scholarship scheme should contact the financial aid office of the University on 0206804077/0205186904.

All completed online forms should be submitted through the university address;

Bank details of applicants
Birth Certificate of applicants siblings
Bank statement of the applicant’s parents.
All applicants are further urged to avoid misrepresentation in any form or manner that will render their application null.

Deadline for the submission of completed forms


All completed forms together with relevant details should be submitted on Friday, 21st May 2021
